Saturday, the 4th of August 2012 will be a day to remember in the minds
of the members of the Abiding Word Gathering, TAWG, University of
Nigeria Nsukka campus fellowship. The graduating students (The
Generals), as they were called, were being sent-forth by their church as
their degree pursuit had come to a successful end. The occasion was held
at Milipat Hotel in Nsukka. 'The Generals' had their uniforms on and
their female counterparts had on their dinner gowns. The colours for the
event were 'black with touches of red'. It was totally awesome.
Tributes were read, tears were shed, gifts were presented and in
general, love was shared. Medals were awarded to outstanding members of
the Cavaliers for their unrelenting service in the church. Mouth
watering dishes were served and the most exciting part was the dance
session at the end of the event; who says Christians do not know how to
boogie. All in all it was splendid. Well lets see how next year's will
be.
